How it works

Three steps. No friction.

Most service businesses lose more revenue to missed calls, dead leads, and forgotten follow-up than they spend on every ad and tool combined. The MarginMax Consultation is a focused look at where your operation is leaking, and exactly what to plug first.

No pitch deck. No pressure. Just numbers.

How a consultation actually works.

01

You fill out the form

Takes about 3 minutes. We use your answers to skip the small talk and arrive ready.

We ask about your trade, crew size, the tools you already use, and the one thing frustrating you most right now.

02

We get on a 30-minute call

Phone or video. Your call.

We dig into the leak points. You ask anything you want. We listen first and ask the questions the form couldn't.

03

You get the plan

Within 24 hours, a written summary. The leak map and the first three plugs.

If we're a fit, the email lays out what working together looks like and what it would cost. If we're not, we say that too.

A clear picture and a real plan.

01The Leak Map

We walk through your phone. Your leads. Your follow-up. Your reviews. Your booking. By the end you know, to the dollar, what each gap is costing you per month.

Most owners have never had anyone put numbers on this. The reaction is usually some version of "I knew it was bad, I didn't know it was that bad."

02The First Three Plugs

Not a list of 30 things.

The three highest-leverage moves we'd make first, ranked by ROI and time-to-impact. Most owners install one of these and pay for our service that month.

03A Straight Answer

If we're a fit, we tell you what working together looks like and what it costs. If we're not, we tell you that too, and point you to what would actually help.

The leak map and the plan are yours either way. Whether you hire us or not.

We do it this way for a reason.

Most agencies run a discovery call that's really a sales call dressed up in a different shirt. 45 minutes of "tell me about your business," 15 minutes of generic pitch, a proposal in your inbox a week later that doesn't actually address what you said.

That's not this.

The free consultation is work. Real work. We're doing a piece of the job up front so you can see what we actually do before you spend a dime. If it turns out we're not the right fit, you still walk out with something useful.

No high-pressure sales pitch. No 90-minute slideshow. No pretending we have a magic answer for every business on earth.

You're talking to Don. Not a sales rep.

He runs every consultation himself, builds every system himself, and answers every question himself. If you decide to work with him, the same guy who just mapped your leaks is the same guy who plugs them.

A few that come up before booking.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

No catch. The consultation is free because the best way for us to show you what we do is to actually do a piece of it. If you want to work together after, great. If not, you keep the leak map and the plan. That's yours either way.

How long does the call take?

About 30 minutes. We're respectful of your time. Service owners don't have hours to spend on sales calls. The intake form does most of the prep work so the call is high-signal from minute one.

What if I'm not ready to spend money yet?

That's fine. A lot of owners book the consultation just to get the leak map and the plan. We'd rather give you the diagnostic now and earn your business later than push you into something before you're ready.
