The AI phone agent

The AI answering service that texts back and books the job.

For HVAC, plumbing, handyman, and contracting shops in North Jersey, and anywhere the phone is the front door. The agent picks up 24/7 for your shop, qualifies the caller, books onto the calendar you already use, and texts the confirmation. $297 a month with 400 minutes included, then 30 cents a minute. Setup is one time and quoted for your shop. Some owners call it an AI receptionist or an AI answering service. Same thing, written for one shop.

  • Hear it live before you spend a dollar
  • No long contract
  • You keep your phone number
  • Setup quoted, never a surprise

The morning after

You went home at six. The phone kept ringing.

Here is what the calendar looks like at 7 AM when the agent had the phones overnight. Three jobs on the board that used to be three voicemails, and two calls it deliberately did not close, because those were yours to close.

Every entry it makes is a real opening on your real calendar. It does not double book, it does not book outside the hours you gave it, and it does not promise a time you cannot make.

  • Books straight into the calendar your shop already runs on
  • Texts the confirmation before the call ends, and the reminder the next morning
  • Reschedules by text when the customer changes their mind
  • Leaves you a short morning list of the ones that need a human

What it does, and where it stops.

Worth knowing before you call, because the limits are the part most of this industry leaves off the page.

What it does

  • Answers the phone, day and night, for your shop
  • Texts, including the text back on a call it could not take
  • Books onto your calendar, and reschedules when they text back
  • Follows your rules on service area, hours, and what counts as an emergency
  • Takes two calls at once. Simultaneous calls are handled, not queued or capped

What it will not do

  • It does not quote a price unless you turn that on. Out of the box, pricing stays yours.
  • It does not diagnose the job. Your tech does that on site.
  • It does not pretend to be a person, ever, if somebody asks.
  • It does not replace your office. It takes the calls nobody was there for.
  • It does not run a job book or send invoices. That is a separate build, if you want one.

The part most of them skip

It plugs into whatever you already run.

You are not moving your shop into somebody’s app. Tell us what you use and the agent gets wired into it: your scheduling software, the CRM you already pay for, a shared Google Calendar, or a whiteboard and a phone if that is honestly what it is.

That is the reason setup gets quoted per shop instead of printed on a page. Wiring an agent into a shared calendar and wiring one into a full field-service system are not the same week of work, and pretending they are would mean overcharging half of you.

There is a dashboard if you want one, showing calls, messages, and the calendar. It is optional. Plenty of shops never open it, and the agent works exactly the same either way.

Sample exchange · 9:32 PM
Caller “Am I talking to a real person?”
Agent “No, I’m the AI assistant for Tessaro Plumbing. I can get you on the schedule, or I can have Mike call you back. Which would you rather?”
Caller “Have him call me.”
Agent “Done. I’ve got your number and a note that it’s the water heater. He’ll see it first thing.”

The number

$297 a month, and the meter is printed right here.

That covers 400 minutes on the phone, which is somewhere around 130 calls in a month at about three minutes a call. Past that it is 30 cents a minute. Setup is a one-time fee, quoted for your shop once we know what the agent has to plug into.

The allowance and the overage rate are on this page on purpose. A surprise usage bill is the fastest way to lose somebody, and you should be able to do the arithmetic yourself before you ever call us.

  1. Minutes are talk time On the calls the agent handles. We sized the bucket so a typical shop stays inside it.
  2. Overage is printed 30 cents a minute past 400. No tier to jump to, no call to renegotiate.
  3. Setup is the only variable A calendar pipe and a full field-service integration are different weeks of work. You get a number before you pay.
  4. Leaving is simple 30 days’ notice, no penalty. Your number and your calendar were always yours.

From the first call to live, in three moves.

  1. Call the demo

Dial (862) 420-0297. Tell it your AC quit. Ask if it is a person. It offers you a time with the founder at the end.

  2. Thirty minutes with the founder

Phone or video. We go through your call volume, your hours, your calendar, and the tools the agent has to plug into. You get the setup quote on the call, and the pricing in writing the same day.

  3. You hear it before a customer does

The agent gets written on your services, your service area, and your rules, wired into your calendar, and tested against real calls. You call your own line and hear it answer. Then it goes live.

The questions that come up before the call.

01Does it sound robotic?

It is one of the more natural AI voices available, and it is written on your services, your hours, and your rules rather than a script. The honest answer is to call the demo line at (862) 420-0297 and judge for yourself.

02What happens when two calls come in at once?

It answers both. The agent takes calls side by side, not one at a time, so the second caller does not wait behind the first.

03What if a caller wants a real person?

The agent says it is an AI and offers to reach you. It never pretends to be a person. In the hours you pick at setup it transfers the call live to whoever you choose, and the rest of the time it takes their details so you can call them back.

04Does it quote prices?

Only if you want it to. Out of the box it takes the details and flags the call for you. Turn quoting on and it reads from the price list you give it, nothing else.

05What counts toward the 400 minutes?

Talk time on the calls the agent handles. Past 400 minutes in a month it is 30 cents a minute, and that rate is printed above so nothing on your statement is a surprise.

06Do I need your dashboard?

No. The agent plugs into the calendar and scheduling tools you already use. There is a dashboard showing calls, messages, and the calendar if you want one, and the agent works the same either way.

07Do I keep my phone number?

Yes. Calls forward to the agent. Nothing changes for the people calling you, and if you ever leave, the forwarding comes off and your line is exactly what it was.

Do not take our word for it. Call it.

This is the agent, on a real line, right now. Tell it your business and hear it take your calls. It will offer you a time with the founder at the end.
